Is Mistu compatible with power showers?
Yes, Mistu is compatible with most types of shower. However, please note that it will not work with a ceiling mounted/waterfall shower head.
Does Mistu regulate your water temperature?
No it does not.
Do you need batteries or electricity to use Mistu?
No, Mistu is powered by your water pressure.
How do you maintain Mistu?

You can leave your normal shower gel/shampoo in the container for 2-3 days.

For your home made blends/shower gel/shampoo, wash the container after you are finished and run clean water through Mistu, i.e. put clean water into the container.
Warning:

Do not put strong or corrosive chemicals, alcohol or anything you are not familiar with into the container.

Do not use Mistu with any substances that you are allergic to.

What certification does Mistu have?
Mistu has been granted both a design and a utility patent certificate.
At what level should I mount Mistu on the wall?
Mistu should be mounted at the same level or slightly higher than your shower head (5cm above) depending on your water pressure.
What comes in the box?
When you order a Mistu device, you will receive:

A shower hose (you will need two if you have a wall mounted shower head).

How do I install Mistu on my shower?
Mistu connects to most standard showers in just a few minutes:
- Unscrew your existing shower hose.
- Attach the Mistu unit between the shower head and the hose.
- Fill the chamber with your chosen shampoo, shower gel, or body wash.
Tighten the connections by hand — no tools or plumber required.
Once attached, Mistu is ready to use.
Do I need special tools or a plumber to fit Mistu?
No. Mistu is designed for simple, tool-free installation. If you can twist a shower hose, you can set it up.
Q: How do I use Mistu during a shower?
Turn the control dial to switch between plain water and infused water. Adjust the dial for more or less product flow. Mistu gives you complete control over your shower experience.
Q: Can I still use my shower normally if I don’t want product infusion?
Yes. Simply keep the dial set to “water only” and your shower will run as usual.
Q: How do I refill Mistu?
To refill, unscrew the chamber cap, add your favourite liquid shampoo, gel, or body wash, and screw the cap back on securely. The chamber is transparent so you can easily see when it needs topping up.
Q: How much product does the chamber hold?
The Mistu chamber is designed to hold enough product for multiple showers, depending on usage and dial setting.
Q: Is Mistu easy to clean?
Yes. Simply rinse the chamber with warm water when changing products, and give the unit a quick wipe to keep it fresh.
Q: What if I have trouble with water pressure or leaks?
If you experience leaks, check that the rubber washers are in place and connections are hand-tight. If pressure seems low, ensure the chamber is not overfilled. For further help, our support team is available.
Q: Can Mistu be used with thick shampoos or specialised products?
Mistu works best with standard liquid shampoos, gels, and body washes. Thicker products may need to be diluted slightly with water for best results.
Q: Is Mistu safe for daily use by multiple people in a household?
Yes. Mistu is built for daily family use. Each person can choose their own product — just refill the chamber as needed.
Q: How long does installation take?
Most people set up Mistu in under 5 minutes the very first time.
